Who is responsible?

Mario Pacher, trading as Oyen & Umi Games (OYU Games), is the controller for this website.

Visiting the website

We use Cloudflare to host and deliver this website. When your browser requests a page, image, video, or download, technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser information is processed to deliver the content and protect the service.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Technical data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service, investigate faults or abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention also depends on Cloudflare’s service and security settings.

Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States and operates a global network, so processing may take place outside the EU/EEA. Its Data Processing Addendum describes the applicable transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required. See also Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Cookies and analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and improve this website’s performance. A browser script sends page-view and loading-performance measurements to Cloudflare. Reports include visited pages, referral sources, browser and device categories, and loading times.

Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies, local storage, or visitor fingerprinting, and does not track people across websites. We do not use advertising pixels or marketing cookies.

Where personal data is processed to provide these measurements, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding website use and improving performance under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare’s processing and international-transfer safeguards are described in the hosting section above.

Cloudflare retains unsampled analytics data for seven days, then samples it for longer-term reporting. Its dashboard makes reports available for the previous six months. See Cloudflare’s data collection documentation and analytics FAQ for details.

Fonts, game screenshots, and gameplay videos are served from this website. The videos do not use embedded YouTube or other third-party players.

Contacting us by email

If you email us, we process your email address, the name you provide, your message, and any attachments to respond to your enquiry. Our email service provider processes the correspondence to deliver and store it.

For general enquiries, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. For enquiries concerning a contract or steps you request before entering a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. We retain correspondence until the enquiry is resolved and no further follow-up is needed, unless contractual matters, legal retention duties, or the establishment or defence of legal claims require longer storage.

Providing contact information is voluntary, but we need a reply address and enough information to answer your enquiry.

Steam, social media, and downloads

Steam, Discord, our social profiles, and the external trailer download are linked from this website. When you follow a link, the provider processes your visit under its own privacy notice. These services are not embedded as social feeds or store widgets.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, through this website.
